On Monday, April 3rd, representatives of the BR-116/North Consortium and technicians from the São Leopoldo City Hall met to discuss the works on the BR-116 in São Leopoldo. O National Department of Transport Infrastructure (Dnit) will begin staking work on the viaduct at the junction with RS-240, located in the Scharlau neighborhood, on April 10.
Details were adjusted to ensure that the execution of the work does not interfere with the drainage, telecommunications, natural gas and electricity networks that may be present in the path of the excavations.
According to the superintendent of Urbanism, João Henrique Dias, a diagram of the piping of these systems was passed on to the company responsible for the work. “In any case, teams from the Municipal Water and Sewage Service (Semae) and the Municipal Secretariat for Works and Transportation (Semov) were on alert, in case of any unforeseen events”, he commented.
Another agreed issue was about the relocation of the bus stops that were close to the walkway located in front of the Nossa Senhora Aparecida Parish, which was removed. The new points are close to Travessa Tijuca and Rua Cruzeiro do Sul, next to another walkway.
Members of Semov participated in the meeting; from Semae; the Municipal Secretariat for Mobility and Public Services (Semurb), and the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM).
