INGREDIENTS
1 package of frozen puff pastry (400 g)
2 cans of Sardines in Coconut Oil, drained (125 g each can)
2 medium tomatoes cut into slices
200 g of Minas fresh cheese cut into slices
fresh basil leaves to taste
TO BRUSH
egg yolk
TO WATER
olive oil
PREPARATION MODE:
Preheat oven to medium temperature (180°C). Grease a small rectangular baking dish (25 x 19 cm) and set aside. Defrost the dough according to package directions.
Open the dough with the help of a roll. Place in the reserved baking dish lining the bottom and sides. Brush with egg yolk and bake for 20 minutes or until golden. Remove the bones from the sardines and set aside.
Distribute the sardines, the tomatoes, the cheese, the basil, drizzle with the oil and bake again for 10 minutes or until softened and lightly browned. Serve next.
Tip: Before baking the dough, make holes in the bottom with a fork, cover it with aluminum foil, place raw beans until it reaches the edge and bake.
