The Iberê Foundation, in Porto Alegre, will open for free from Thursday (6) to Sunday (9) of Easter Week. In addition to the visitation, on Saturday (8) there will be a Painting and Color Workshop, in dialogue with the exhibition André Ricardo: Da Pintura Necessita.
Aimed at audiences aged 12 and over, the activity is free and will be taught in the afternoon by Pamela Zorn, who will address the power of color present in André’s works.
Pamela Zorn is a visual artist, art educator and Master’s student in Visual Poetics and Bachelor of Visual Arts from UFRGS. She carried out part of her training at the University of Évora – Portugal, in 2018, through an academic mobility scholarship.
Last year, he won the 5th French Alliance of Contemporary Art Award. In her artistic production, she is mainly dedicated to the language of painting, although she uses photography, drawing and subjective writing in her artistic process, where she explores issues of self-representation, racial identities and interraciality in Brazil, as well as the concept of memory.
