Visual artist Milena Julianno presents the Zodíaco Collection, made up of 12 butterflies, each one bringing the vibration of the signs, their elements and their colors. The collection is the result of years of studies and practical experiences on Astrology and also on the self-knowledge that the study provides. The artist’s feelings and perceptions are transformed into works, helping those who appreciate them to integrate into themselves what that archetype represents.
Uniting her greatest passions, self-knowledge and nature, in her art is an unprecedented and disruptive feat, a very striking feature in the work of the artist, who always brought the energy of colors and her intuitive vision to her creations. “A astrology has played a very important role in my life and in my understanding of nature’s cycles. Just as planet Earth experiences the cycles of the seasons, it also experiences the influence of the cycles of the stars. When I started to follow this movement, inside and outside of myself, I greatly expanded my self-knowledge and awareness”, reveals Milena.
During the creation process, Milena had the contribution of Veridiana Vidal, an astrologer from Rio Grande do Sul who currently lives in Ireland and attends the traditional Faculty of Astrological Studiesheadquartered in the United Kingdom.
The works have fine art printing, following museum requirements, made with mineral pigment inks, on 100% cotton paper, size 20×20, come with a frame and can be purchased on the artist’s profile
In addition, until April 23, Milena Julianno is one of the artists featured in the exhibition Novos Ventos nos Movem, held by the Associação de Artes Plásticas Chico Lisboa in DMAE gallery, in Porto Alegre. The work chosen to participate in the exhibition was the series “Continuum”. Milena is also part of the MoA (Museum of the Americas) and BACE (European Communities Artists’ Library) that takes place at The Falcon Villa, in Dubai, with the work “A Big World”, awarded honorable mention in the first edition.
About Milena Julianno
Milena Julianno, Visual Arts Alchemist, lover of nature, self-knowledge and subtlety, was born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, where she lives and maintains her studio.
The awakening to art started in childhood in an intuitive and self-taught way, but it was in adult life – after motherhood – that she started to dedicate herself to it.
His creative process starts from the observation of the interaction of the being with the elements of nature, the planet, the universe and humanity itself. His sensitivity and intuition transmit life, color and energy to his creations, which seek to awaken in the observer the perception of his inner world and, consequently, of the outer world.
In 2020, he launched the “Butterflies” series of paintings, inspired by Spring and all the magic that involves blooming. In the same year, during the pandemic, he stamped protective masks with four of his works.
The artist has toured 18 countries with her works. Some of these places are the Louvre Museum, Luxembourg Art Week, Artexpo New York Art Fair, Menduina Art Gallery, in Los Angeles, Brussels, Turkey, among others.
