Tijucas/SC – Always seeking to give visibility to relevant causes, Iguatemi is engaged for the seventh consecutive year in Blue Day, a worldwide campaign held on April 2nd to raise awareness about autism. Established by the UN, the focus of the initiative is to stimulate debate around the topic and bring discussions about the importance of early diagnosis and treatment of symptoms of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to society’s agenda.
In 2023, 13 malls and 2 outlets of the network will engage in the campaign and carry out different awareness actions during the month of April. “We play an important role in this ecosystem, using our visibility not only to boost the campaign, but to develop actions that invite everyone to increasingly promote the inclusion of these people”, comments Vivian Broge, Director of Human Resources at Iguatemi.
In addition to the traditional blue façade that will be inaugurated on April 2 (theme’s milestone date), the I Fashion Outlet Santa Catarina will also bring other initiatives to engage and raise awareness among customers about the cause, such as Lighting on the Ferris wheel, featured on social media social and media mall.
Customers can participate in the action by visiting the development and posting a photo of the mall’s façade with the hashtag #bluedayiguatemi.
