A 27th Viamão Fish Fair starts on Tuesday (4) and continues until Good Friday (7) to give those interested the opportunity to buy fresh fish for lunch on the holy holiday.
Organized by the Municipal Department of Agriculture and Supply (SMAA) of Viamão and Emater, the Fair will have different points of sale to facilitate access by the population:
- Center (Matrix Church Square)
- Santa Isabel (Liberty Square)
- Stop 87 from Águas Claras
There will be four days of the Fair, serving the public from 8 am to 8 pm, with the exception of Good Friday (7), which will run until noon.
The fish that will be sold in this 27th edition of the Fair come from artisanal fishermen from Varzinha, Itapuã and Morro Grande. In addition to varieties of whole fish, steaks and fillets, products from the local agro-industry will also be sold, such as wine, honey, biscuits, among others.
