This Thursday (30), agents of the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) of São Leopoldo were patrolling the safe crossing at the Municipal Elementary School (EMEF) Emílio Meyer, in the Feitoria neighborhood, when a lady made an approach informing that there was a horse on the way.
The animal was attached to a rope that was very long and when moving it disturbed traffic on Jorge Schuch Street, parallel to João Carlos Becker, the school street.
The agents went to this point and removed the animal from the vehicle circulation area, shortening the rope with a knot and leaving it near a vacant lot. Guard Vanderlei Ferreira, who responded to the incident, was once part of the Ipson Pavani Environmental Defense Group (GDA).
“I stayed at the GDA for a long time, and that gave me experience in dealing with animals, especially horses. So we had no difficulty moving him away from the street,” she explained.
