Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency) added seven new drugs to the List of Narcotic, Psychotropic, Precursor and Other Substances under Special Control. The products have a similar effect to ecstasy and LSD and were included in the F list of the catalog, which deals with drugs prohibited in Brazil.
Substances 1B-LSD, 1P-LSD, 5C-MDA-19, 5F-MDA-19, ADB-Fubiata, ALD-52 and MDA-19 are prohibited. These substances are used as drugs of abuse, for recreational purposes with no recognized industrial or medicinal use. The resolution with the updated list was published in the Official Gazette this Wednesday (16).

“It is noteworthy that a part of these substances were seized in national territory in police operations, which is why the Federal Police itself suggested the evaluation and inclusion of substances in the list, since this subsidizes the performance of police operations”, commented the director of the Anvisa Alex Machado Campos, during a meeting on February 9.
Know which substances are prohibited:
1B-LSD e 1P-LSD: It is a psychedelic drug of the lysergamide class that is a derivative and functional analogue of LSD. It has been sold online as a “designer drug” since 2015. In tests on mice, it was found to be an active psychedelic, albeit with only about 1/7 the potency of LSD itself.
MDA-19, 5C-MDA-19 e 5F-MDA-19: Anesthetic drugs that began to be studied at the University of Texas in the year 2000. In studies on rats, it was effective for the treatment of pain, but it has been shown to work differently in humans. The substance was banned for human use in the United States in November 2021.
ADB-Fubiata: It is classified as a synthetic cannabinoid, 80 to 100 times more potent than marijuana. Among the effects of the drug are aggression, convulsions, loss of reasoning, hypertension, tachycardia, tremors, cardiorespiratory arrest, chemical dependence and death.
ALD-52: Also known as 1-acetyl-LSD or “orange sunshine”, ALD-52 is a substance considered analogous to LSD, the most popular hallucinogen in the world. It can delusions, hallucinations, mental confusion and synesthesia.
