Ball show in Estancia Velha. This way we can define the semifinal round of the Interbairros Municipal Championship last Sunday. The first match between Bar Décio and Bela Vista was marked by the excitement of the two fans who filled the premises of the Estancia field. Singing songs of encouragement, the fans put on a show of their own.
The game was exciting, with many goals scored and nerves on edge. Bar Décio got the better of it and ended up qualifying for next Sunday’s grand final. Both teams left the field applauded for the beautiful show they provided.
Zero Grau Aves&Cia entered the field with the firm intention of reaching the final and defending the 2022 title. But ahead of them was the powerful Rincão team that dominated all the actions of the first half, making the opposing goalkeeper the name of the game. Despite suffocating the opponent, Rincão did not turn the superiority into goals and reached the break without changing the scoreboard.
Zero Grau improved a little in the second half, controlling the opponent’s momentum and risking some good counterattacks. Confirming football’s premise that the best team doesn’t always win, in one of these bursts the 2022 champion had a corner kick in his favor and from there came the only goal of the game.
At the final whistle, the grand finale of the traditional competition was set for next Sunday, at 3 pm at Estância. Bar Décio and Zero Grau Aves&Cia face each other in search of the title of the 2023 Municipal Interneighborhood Championship, in Estância Velha.
