The band ABBA THE SHOW arrives in Brazil for a mega tour with 11 shows in different cities. The Swedish group arrives in the country in April and will perform with musicians from the London National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Matthew Freeman.
The first show will be in Belém (04/14/23). The next day, they will be in Recife (04/15/23). The next weekend is the turn of the southwest region: Poços de Caldas (04/20/23), Rio de Janeiro (04/21/23), Belo Horizonte (04/22/23) and São Paulo (04/23) /23). Afterwards, the group leaves for Porto Alegre (26/04/23), Araquari (28/04/23), Florianópolis (29/04/23), Brasília (30/04/23), ending in Goiânia (01/05 /23).
Almost half a century ago, one of the biggest phenomena in world pop music ABBA was born in Sweden. The quartet formed by Benny, Bjorn, Agnetha and Frida, broke all records, transcended horizons and crossed time as one of the most genuine and successful musical groups of all time.
Separated for more than four decades, they never announced an end, but a new reunion has always been awaited by different generations of fans.
His numerous hits gained strength with the creation of the musical “Mama Mia” which became a film becoming one of the highest grossing films and musical theater.
The long-awaited return to the studio took place in 2021 to accompany the project “ABBA Voyager”, a technological show that recreated in a computer the pop quartet that never returned to the stage.
For the happiness of their fans, a musical project shaped with excellence meant that the band could no longer do it. Traveling the world performing for more than two million people with the same sound and visual mastery of the original lineup.
ABBA THE SHOW is formed by Camila Dahlin, Katja Nord Mats Ronander, Janne Schaffer, Lasse Jonsson, Finn Sjobërg, Lasse Wellandere and Roger Palm, as well as members of the National Symphony Orchestra of London conducted by Maestro Matthew Freeman.
The show proposes a journey through time on a magical journey through the history of ABBA, when Bjorn, Benny, Agnetha Frida performed together. A hit-packed 2-hour musical extravaganza featuring classics “Waterloo”, “SOS”, “Mamma Mia”, “Dancing Queen”, “Money Money Money”, “Knowing Me Knowing You” and more.
