Ingredients:
1 package of Biscuit Maizena Piraquê
4 eggs
1 cup cream (milk)
½ cup margarine (melted)
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 ½ cup wheat flour (tea)
2 cups of sugar (tea)
2 tablespoons chocolate powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup (tea) chocolate chips
To decorate:
2 tablespoons icing sugar
Preparation mode:
In a medium bowl, add the eggs, cream, butter or margarine and vanilla, stir gently and set aside. Take the biscuit to the processor and beat until you get a farofa.
In a deep bowl, add the biscuit crumbs, wheat flour, sugar, chocolate powder and salt, mix well, make a hole in the center and add the liquid ingredients already mixed.
Dilute the sodium bicarbonate in ½ cup (tea) of warm water, add it to the dough, add the baking powder and ½ cup (tea) of chocolate chips, stir well until all ingredients are involved and pour into greased molds or margarine and flour.
Decorate on top with the remaining chocolate drops and bake in a medium oven (180ºC) for about 40 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool and decorate with icing sugar. Serve next.

Tip: If you want to prepare the muffins with other fillings, remove the chocolate powder from the dough and the chocolate drops and replace it with 4 tablespoons of jam of your choice.
