Promoted since 2017, Quinta Maldita will hit the road and tour 12 cities in Santa Catarina from March to May 2023. The project to disseminate poetry and literature from Santa Catarina, which is a partnership between musician, teacher and writer Demétrio Panarotto, with cultural producer Marcio Fontoura, has already had more than one hundred editions and more than two thousand poems in a collection published on various platforms, by various artists, authors and authors.
“These publications can be found on streaming channels, with Mixcloud, Deezer, Spotify and Google Play and also on the program channel youtube.com/quintamaldita. And now, we are going to expand circulation and promote literature and poetry from Santa Catarina throughout various regions of the state”, explains Panarotto.
Fontoura points out that the project, approved by the 2022 Elisabete Anderle Prize, is completely free and that the idea of traveling through Santa Catarina is a way of bringing new authors closer to other well-known writers.
“We are going to hold meetings in places that are already known as meeting places for writers. In addition, we are going to promote, before each of the 12 soirées, a free workshop for the construction of poems”, he comments.
The Quinta Maldita Invasão project seeks, according to the organizers, to move the literary scene in each city. And in addition to the face-to-face meetings, all editions will be transmitted virtually on youtube.com/quintamaldita.
