One of the coziest corners of the house, the TV room, has a special place in the hearts of many people. After all, who doesn’t like to come home after a long day at work and relax watching their favorite series?
With all eyes on the small screen, this is an environment that deserves special attention. To have your own cinema at home and enjoy pleasant moments, with all the comfort that the experience deserves, when setting up the home theater it is necessary to pay attention to issues such as: the arrangement of furniture, size of the room and choice of electronics.
It is important to consider the possibilities of each space. Large environments allow the use of larger televisions and more powerful sound systems, while small rooms may not support the installation of separate boxes and do not need stereos with very high powers. Another point that should be taken into account is visual comfort.
The distance between the television and the sofa will depend on the size of the chosen screen. The higher the number of inches, the greater the recommended distance, for a 32-inch television, for example, the ideal minimum distance is two meters.
Whether in the company of friends or relaxing alone, these details ensure greater comfort and fun when enjoying a movie, making the experience even more special.
Home cinema
Great cinema icons print the walls of this home theater designed by architect Andréa Benthien. When it’s time to play, the acoustic insulation and the incidence of external light bring the feeling of a movie theater to the space, while the sofas guarantee all the comfort of being at home.
Discreet and sophisticated
Beauty and style go hand in hand in this project signed by architect Caroline Andrusko. The marble panel ensures more elegance to the environment, while the speakers built into the ceiling provide greater discretion in the installation of audio equipment.
modern touch
Designed by architects Ana Carolina Boscardin and Edgard Corsi, this intimate TV room, with a simple and versatile composition, proves that it is possible to combine comfort and design with a lot of personality. One of the highlights is the sofa with a fixed chaise, quite long and linear, which brings a contemporary feel to the environment due to its dry, straight and more rigid design.
artistic bias
With a contemporary feel, in this TV room are works of art that share space with the comfort of the sofa. The Henning Kuwow rug, the Jader Almeida coffee table and dining chairs, and the Burle Marx engraving are some of the highly regarded items in this environment designed by Volpi Arquiteta.
beauty and technology
Seeking to prioritize aesthetics, but without losing functionality, for this project, architect Alessandra Gandolfi hid the speakers, lighting and electronic equipment. The result is a perfect mix between the natural tones of the wood, the Perlato Paraná Marble and the natural leather sofa, all with the ideal acoustics to enjoy her favorite movie.
comfort and design
In this space designed by Machado, Weiss e Moraes Arquitetura e Interiores, the choice of neutral tones brought a very cozy atmosphere to the TV room. The great highlight of the environment is the Lounge Eames armchair, which, in addition to being comfortable, is a work of art that carries part of the history of 20th century design.
cozy corner
Welcoming is the keyword that defines the project created by architects Juliana Marques and Roberta Lanza, from Griff Arquitetura. The TV room gives comfort to the eyes through the use of neutral and earthy colors and woody panels. Lighting complements the decor, bringing more charm and warmth to the environment.
