road cycling
Road Cycling is divided into several categories such as Elite, Master A, B and C, Junior, Juvenile, Children, Female Elite, Female Master, Veteran, Rookie and Paracycling. There are also Time Trial and Endurance modes. Road Cycling is a sport competition derived from cycling that is divided into two categories regulated by the International Cycling Union, by individual or team competition.
The Time Trial is a test of special importance due to the very different characteristic between running in a group (platoon) and running individually. Running within a peloton, a cyclist can save 50% of energy compared to the cyclist in front, due to the favorable aerodynamic conditions within a peloton.
