This Saturday (11), Balneário dos Prazeres, in Pelotas, receives the 8th Cross Country Barro Duro. The running event in the middle of nature, with natural obstacles on the edge of the beach, is organized by the City of Pelotas and will involve participants from the pre-child category to adults and seniors.
The start is scheduled for 3:30 pm, in front of the Municipal Elementary School (Emef) Luiz Augusto Assumpção, in Praça Aratiba. Those who signed up and still haven’t picked up their kit will be able to pick it up at the race venue, from 2:30 pm until the start of the competition.
The top five finishers in the male and female categories in the adult course will receive trophies. In addition, medals will be given to the top three in each category and a participation award to all who complete the race.

* 3:30 p.m.: Pre-Mirim category – one kilometer course
* 15h40: Mirim category – two kilometer course
* 15h50: Women’s category – five kilometer course
* 15h55: Men’s category – five kilometer course
