The good moment of Recreio da Juventude Tennis will have a new chapter from the 16th of March. Isabeli Andreola and Pietra Rivoli were invited to participate in the Roland-Garros Juniors Series, at Sociedade Harmonia de Tênis, in São Paulo-SP.
The competition, in the 16 years old category, will be worth a wildcard for the main draw of Roland-Garros Junior, in Paris. The qualifier for the French tournament will bring together a select group of 16 athletes from 10 countries in South America, with Recreio da Juventude having two representatives. Pietra and Isa will be accompanied by coach Giovani Serafin.
The good results of the Club’s tennis players at Gira Cosat (South American Tennis Confederation) ensured the invitation. Pietra Rivoli won the Assunción Bowl, in Paraguay, and the Brasil Juniors Cup, held at Recreio da Juventude. Isabeli won the Regatas Bowl, in Peru, and runner-up in the Copa Indervalle, in Colombia, and the Brasil Juniors Cup.
The two athletes are competing in the Banana Bowl, in Gaspar-SC, which runs until Saturday. After the tournament, they return to Caxias do Sul and head to São Paulo at the beginning of next week. The competition will be broadcast daily on ESPN and Star + channels.
