A study done in the 1980s by psychologist Howard Gardner showed the world that people’s intellect is varied and multiple, and in the job market this gains even more attention, as human intelligence is diverse and is possible in every one of them, depending on what you hope to achieve.
Thinking about the importance of understanding these differences, PUCRS Online, a teaching model that has been conquering thousands of students due to its digital solution, in partnership with UOL EdTech, the largest technology company for education in the country, announces the class “Journada da Professional Intelligence – The concept that will leverage your career in 2023”, which will be held online and free of charge, on March 20th.
The course will have three classes, one taught by American journalist Daniel Goleman on Emotional Intelligence, another by businesswoman Nath Finance, teaching Financial Intelligence and the last by lawyer Ronaldo Lemos, on Artificial Intelligence. Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate.
During the class, it will be discussed how the market has been updating and boosting essential skills and behaviors for all professionals. In addition, the course will show how, currently, some pillars are gaining more and more prominence and defining a new concept for the job market: Professional Intelligence.
In the class, three different types of new skills relevant to the market will be presented, they are:
Emotional intelligence: It consists of the ability to recognize and evaluate your own feelings and those of other people, knowing how to act based on them. Guest: Daniel Goleman – an American science journalist who, for twelve years, wrote for The New York Times, mainly about advances in the study of the brain and behavioral sciences, topics that were part of his doctorate at Harvard.
Artificial intelligence: It is the ability developed by machines to function intelligently, similar to humans. Guest: Ronaldo Lemos – lawyer and director of the Institute of Technology and Society of Rio de Janeiro.
Financial Intelligence: The competence to make the best decisions regarding finances, both in personal life and in business development. Guest: Nath Finance – at age 24, the businesswoman, administrator, writer and youtuber, became the only Brazilian to occupy a position in the ranking of the 50 greatest leaders in the world by the American magazine Fortune.
