Colorgraf brings to the 46th International Fair of Leather, Chemicals, Components, Machinery and Equipment for Footwear and Tanneries – FIMEC 2023, recently developed products, such as labels with coconut fiber and pet fiber for the textile and footwear fashion industries, denim print for slide sole, checkered slide vamp, transfer to water-based slipper with metallic effect and transfer to water-based slipper that glows in the dark, in addition to a 3D label for the back of sneakers in recycled PVC and the Movicolor – a movement label with a mushroom pop print, describes the company’s commercial manager, Uana Gaspar.
Colorgraf’s connection with nature can be proven through the organization’s sustainable practices, says the company’s commercial manager. “The positioning aligned with sustainability is visible both in the perspective of future projects and in the company’s current development scenario” reports Uana.
In product development, the concept of the Body was also explored, such as power, aesthetics or performance, valuing the importance and understanding of its own meanings, explains Colorgraf’s commercial manager. Two models of transfers for water-based slippers were developed, with prints of mouths – glitter and relief effects.
In the 3D labels, a piece was developed in PVC, gilded with glitter and another in TPU, gilded with silver, for use in clothing, with thermo-glue or for sewing, explains manager Uana, who goes on to talk about the Vitreous concept, which inspired a development new, encapsulated garment label with gold and silver holographic effects.
Colorgraf’s participation in sustainability issues does not only translate into the development of its products, even if this is a more than natural reflection, points out Ismael Arnold, the company’s commercial director.
The initiative to assume sustainability as a corporate position is part of Colorgraf’s strategic planning, continues Ismael Arnold. “We invested in expanding the use of clean and renewable sources to reduce the pressure on water systems and increase the competitiveness of the industry. The company’s environmental agenda includes studies for efficiency in the use of materials, reduction in energy consumption and waste management, in addition to evaluating and qualifying suppliers”, concludes the director, inviting customers and partners to visit Colorgraf’s stand at the fair, located in corridor “P”, opposite corridors “H” and “I”, nº 4063.
