The show Adolescer returns to the stage for two performances at Teatro CIEE (Rua Dom Pedro II, 861) on March 18 and 19, with sessions on Saturday at 9 pm and Sunday at 6 pm.
For two decades on display on Brazilian stages, the dynamic and choreographed play deals with the lives of young people with humor and emotion, addressing, without judgment, frequent themes experienced between 12 and 18 years old.
Subjects such as bullying, anxiety, dating, self-esteem, friendships, family and school relationships, pregnancy, drugs, the virtual world and mental health are part of the montage’s repertoire, always within a socio-educational context aimed not only at teenagers, but also at all those who live with them, such as parents, grandparents and teachers.
The only show aimed at young audiences that has been active for so long, the play was born with the aim of facilitating the transition, often difficult, between childhood and adult life, through art. The montage is written and directed by Vanja Ca Michel, actress, director, theater teacher, cultural producer and specialist in adolescence with 44 years of teaching and 40 years of artistic career.
