The book “Poesia que liberata”, written by Amarildo Rubinei Moreira with the seal of Editora Ueba, will be released on March 16, 2023, starting at 6 pm, at the Municipal Historical Archive João Spadari Adami, in Caxias do Sul. Amarildo, 60 years old, is new to literature and is currently an entrepreneur in the recycling area serving institutions in Caxias do Sul.
The work “Poesia que liberata” presents the reader with 77 poems written by Amarildo over 15 years, in a moment of reflection on the different journeys, struggles and ills in a person’s life. The author names the period in which he wrote the poems as an “inner recycling walk”, in which he addressed themes such as betrayal, crying, longing, courage, overcoming, among others, through a simple and direct language, sounding to the reader as a arrow.
Amarildo has a peculiar life story, born in the periphery, he sought alternative sources of survival, transiting between different worlds, until he recognized himself as an entrepreneur and an artist, thus freeing himself from the chains that oppressed him.
Rapper and researcher Chiquinho Divilas is the one who encouraged the publication of the work and signs the book’s preface, saying: “Amarildo fights every day. And he is not afraid of his own feelings. Poet, prophet who seeks strength and creativity in an invisible source that comes from the universe. The proletarian of words. He proves that pure art transforms and frees us.”
On the occasion of the launch, there will also be a conversation with the author and other supporters of the work, and an autograph session for the book, which will be sold at the time and also at Livraria do Arco da Velha. The amount raised will be donated to APAE – Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional of Caxias do Sul.
