Clube dos Jangadeiros will hold the 28th edition of the Copa Cidade de Porto Alegre on March 18th and 19th. The event, one of the most anticipated sailing events in southern Brazil, will take place at the club’s headquarters. The ORC, S-30, HPE 25, Microtoner 19, Velejaço and Força Livre classes compete in the tournament.
Comodoro Pedro Pesce says that this is one of many opportunities to create bonds and share experiences, as well as bringing great symbolism to the club. “The City Cup has a huge meaning for Jangadeiros. It is an honor to be able to host one of the most renowned competitions, not only in Porto Alegre, but also in Brazil. This is one of many other opportunities to be able to share experiences with others, in addition to socializing outside the competition field”, says Pesce.
To mark the event, the opening cocktail will be held on the 17th, Friday, the eve of the Copa Cidade. The ceremony will take place at Pontal do Estaleiro, in the South Zone of Porto Alegre. At the celebration, there will be the delivery of competition materials.
