The FREJAT TRIO Eletro Acústico show arrives on stage at the Araújo Vianna Auditorium, in Porto Alegre, on Saturday, March 11th.
The project arose from Frejat’s desire to create new possibilities and musical textures for some of his hits. The kickoff was given during the period of isolation imposed by the pandemic, and it began to take shape when it took a break.
The first to be called up was Rafael Frejat (guitar and keyboard), with whom Frejat spent the most time and with whom he even did some lives in the quarantine. Soon after, Maurício Almeida, Frejat’s current guitarist, was invited and demonstrated total rapport with Rafael on the six strings, backing vocals and forays into other instruments.
The FREJAT TRIO Eletro Acústico invests in new arrangements for hits such as “Amor Pra Recomeçar”, “Segredos”, “Flores do Mal”, “Por Você”, “Meus Bons Amigos” and the B-side “Boomerangue Blues”, by Renato Russo . Contemporary sounds like “Fadas”, a tribute to Luiz Melodia, and the song “Poema”, a partnership with Cazuza that had been immortalized in the voice of Ney Matogrosso and now receives the version of Frejat.
After months of rehearsals, the FREJAT TRIO Eletro Acústico hit the roads: “The show is not intended to surprise with the choice of repertoire, but rather with the treatment given to the songs”, concludes Frejat.
