Porto Alegre/RS – The winning schools of Carnival 2023 in Porto Alegre will be known this Monday, 6th, from 2 pm, in Porto Seco. On the 3rd and 4th, 20 associations, ten from the Gold series and ten from the Silver series, paraded through the venue.
Mayor Sebastião Melo says that the challenge now is to evaluate successes and mistakes and develop an even better celebration of culture next year.
“The spectacle that was Carnival 2023 is the result of collective work, from the communities, adding leagues, partners and the city hall, which made every possible effort to deliver quality to the population” – Mayor Sebastião Melo.
The city hall mobilized services for the event, with assistance in essential areas such as safety, health, social assistance, traffic and transportation, technology, cleaning and inspection.
In addition to the paid sectors, such as boxes and boxes, this year all grandstand tickets for the days were distributed free of charge. They could be withdrawn in advance on the Sympla platform.
