Former Minister of Agriculture and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), Francisco Turra will be honored for his career in defense of agribusiness during the VIII Agribusiness Leadership Meeting 2023.
The event takes place this Monday (6th), in Carazinho, with promotion by the Rural Union of Carazinho, Farsul and Cotrijal.
Turra will receive recognition especially for his role in creating the Two Crops program, designed in 2020. The project seeks alternatives in winter crops, such as wheat, for use in the manufacture of feed for poultry and pigs.
The objective of the initiative is to increase the productivity and profitability of the producer in Rio Grande do Sul. “My life has been completely linked to agriculture since the cradle. My role in public and business life has always been focused on our agro, looking for alternatives to improve the life of rural people. This recognition makes me happy and encourages me to continue working”says the former minister.
