Os italian wineswhich are highly gastronomic and help prepare the palate, are the theme of a drink pairing that will take place from 7 pm on Tuesday, March 7, at the DANKO restaurant, in Florianópolis.
In partnership with Super Imperatriz, four versions of the drink will be presented, two rosés and two whites, from the Enoitalia winery. During the event, which will be harmonized with a rotating menu, the brand’s export manager, Esteban Garcia Pascoal, will give a brief presentation of each drink.
A glass of sparkling wine Midea Millesimato Brut, accompanied by a Kliass Salad starts the pairing. The dish, which is on the DANKO menu, has grilled mushrooms, selected green leaves and PANC, carrot hummus, roasted zucchini, pickled cucumber, confit tomato, roasted broccoli, basil pesto with ora pro nobis and vegan parmesan.
Afterwards, a She’s Always Rosé Brut sparkling wine will be served. The drink will be accompanied by a Quinoto Manezinho, which is made with hake, shrimp, mussels and octopus.
The She’s Always wine, another rosé, will be paired with the Como O Mar Está dish, which features the catch of the day with crunchy chestnuts, Thai sauce, cassava puree and roasted vegetables.
To complete, a Bombocado 6 Stars. The dessert, which is a cassava cocada with pineapple compote, salted caramel, chestnut chips and lemongrass ant, will be paired with a sparkling wine from Midea Moscatel.
“We are going to offer fresh, light and pleasant wines that leave that feeling of wanting more. And those who participate will get to know some production secrets during a special night for those who love wine and gastronomy”, says Raquel Secco Milesi, head sommelier at Grupo Imperatriz.
Reservations for pairing, worth R$ 175 per person, can be made via WhatsApp (48) 99161-0610. During the meeting, six bottles of wine and bags exclusive to the DANKO brand will be raffled off.
“This is DANKO’s first wine pairing event, and we want it to be the beginning of a delightful fraternity. We are already planning other events throughout the year”, highlights Carlos Lopes, one of the restaurant’s partners.
The restaurant located on the banks of SC-401, in the Capital, opens from Tuesday to Saturday, from 11:30 am to 11 pm and on Sundays from 11:30 am to 6 pm.
