This weekend, from March 3rd to 5th, Nova Petrópolis will host the fourth edition of the Car Collection Meeting at the Events Center, with free entry (spontaneous donation of one kilo of food). Organized by the Veteran Car Club Serra Gaúcha and part of the summer schedule at Jardim da Serra Gaúcha, the event should receive more than 400 vehicles on display.
The opening of the Events Center for public visitation takes place on Friday (3), at 4 pm, with the pavilions closing at 8:30 pm. On other days, visitation starts at 8:30 am, ending at 7:30 pm on Saturday (4) and 7:00 pm on Sunday (5).
The official opening is scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday and during the afternoon there will be concerts by Luiz Romagna – Cover Elvis Presley at 1:30 pm and by The Road Runners Country Band at 5:00 pm. The awards to exhibitors will take place on Sunday at 3:30 pm.
In addition to the shows and hundreds of cars on display, the meeting will feature a food court, the traditional “flea market” and mini VW Beetles. Also noteworthy is the workshop on “black plate”, which will be held by the Brazilian Federation of Vintage Vehicles (FBVA) on Saturday, at 9:30 am.
McLaren
One of the highlights of the 4th Car Collection Meeting in Nova Petrópolis should be a McLaren model 720S Spider V8 vehicle. The car is part of the Boca Mafra Premium collection, in Balneário Camboriú, which is considered the largest Premium and Supersport vehicle store in Brazil.
Old police vehicles, such as Federal Highway Police and State Highway Police, as well as trucks of different models, are also among the attractions.
