This Wednesday (1st), the mayor of São Sebastião do Caí Júlio Campani, in the presence of the Civil Defense commander Ênio dos Santos, the president of the Union of Rural Producers Juliana Wingert, the agronomist from Emater Kátia Huber and the legal advisor of the Diego Jensen’s cabinet, signed the Municipal Emergency Situation Decree, due to the drought, which has been causing damage to municipal farmers.
The decree follows for ratification by the State Government.
This homologation makes it possible for city halls to adopt measures to mitigate the negative impacts of the drought on farmers in the municipality.
