Six candidates participate in the contest that will define the sovereigns of German Folklore of Nova Petrópolis for the period 2023/2024.
The titles of queen and princesses will go to Andrielly Larissa Wildner da Rocha, Érica Bratz Pescador, Gabriela Kich, Jessica Fernanda Schaab, Angela Nicole Fuhr and Karol Michaelsen Fassbinder. The definition of the new court will take place on April 22, Saturday, at ACER Canto Amizade, in Vila Olinda.
The candidates
Andrielly Larissa Wildner da Rocha he is 19 years old and has been part of Volkstanzgruppe Edelstein, at Fazenda Pirajá, for seven years.
Erica Bratz Pescador is 17 years old and is part of the International Folk Dance Group, from the Center, having joined two years ago.
Gabriel Kich20 years old, has been representing the Lustige Volkstanzgruppe Bergtal, from São José do Caí, for 16 years.
Jessica Fernanda Schaab27 years old, is the representative of the Sonnenschein Folk Dance Group, from Linha Araripe and Linha Brasil, a group that she has been a member of for seven years.
Angela Nicole Fuhrfrom Böhmerlandtanzgruppe, from Linha Imperial, is 25 years old and has been part of the group for 10 years.
Karol Michaelsen Fassbinderaged 18, is the candidate of the Volkstanzgruppe Freundschaftskreis, from Vila Olinda, a group in which she has participated for 14 years.
The selection contest is carried out by the Association of German Folk Dance Groups of Nova Petrópolis (AGDFA-NP). The new sovereigns will replace the current court of German Folklore, formed by Queen Mariana Caroline Marcon, 1st Princess Tainara Iasmin Blauth and 2nd Princess Thaís Sofia Paetzinger.
