The singer, composer and pianist Tássia Minuzzo will teach music workshops for people over 50 years old at Centro Cultural 25 de Julho in Porto Alegre. The Transversal do Tempo project unites singing with exercises to improve breathing and activate body and mind memory, in addition to encouraging socialization, creativity, well-being and mental health. Registration is open for the meetings, which will always take place on Tuesdays, from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
During the workshops, participants learn a varied repertoire with different genres that are improved at each meeting. Classes also include auditory perception activities that teach to identify rhythms and instruments present in songs, rhythmic dances that stimulate the body and increase motivation and other practices that balance body and mind, such as meditation and philosophy.
about the minister
Tássia Minuzzo has a degree in Music – Habilitation in piano, from UFRGS, an award and several presentations under her belt. In 2009, she won the Festival of the French Alliance in Porto Alegre. In 2018, she was a soloist with the ULBRA Chamber Orchestra, singing works by composer and pianist Michel Legrand.
He held singing workshops with great singers recognized in Latin America and internationally, such as the Argentinean Verônica Condomí, the Brazilians Carla Maffioletti and Paula Santoro. In addition to singing, she also held theater workshops with actress and singer Cida Moreira, Zé Adão Barbosa and Camila Diehl, focusing on theater therapy.
