Fras-le reached, in 2022, a new record result. The Company’s consolidated net revenue closed last year at BRL 3.1 billion, up 18% compared to 2021. The performance reproduces a year with growing, balanced and positive performance in all operations in Brazil and worldwide.
EBITDA reached R$453 million in the year, up 17%, while the recorded EBITDA Margin was 14.8%. Revenue from the foreign market, which encompasses exports from Brazil with the performance of operations in other countries, totaled R$ 1.2 billion, up 19% compared to the previous year – figures boosted by the good sales performance in regions such as North America and Latin America.
For Fras-le’s Investor Relations director, Hemerson de Souza, the year 2022 was a new milestone in the consolidation of the Company’s business strategy, focused on the aftermarket of auto parts for movement control and diversified in the geographies reached and product portfolio.
“Once again, we reached the highest and best financial indicators in our history, as a result of the assertiveness of the strategy we adopted. We had already noticed a sign of this, for example, when we carried out the follow on, in April, which was presented as a vote of confidence by the market for our performance, rewarding recent performance and serving as a key element for a new expansion cycle that we are building”, highlights Hemerson de Souza.
With part of the resources raised in this movement, Fras-le announced this February, the acquisition of the auto parts manufacturer Juratek, from the United Kingdom, with an investment of around 18.2 million pounds.
The results achieved last year exceeded the established Guidance projections, both in consolidated net revenue and in the share of the foreign market. The year 2022 was also marked by developments in some of the strategic projects, such as the consolidation of the integrated Distribution Center in Extrema (MG) and a new operational center in Argentina, which leveraged the synergies between Fras-le’s subsidiaries.
Continuous investment in circular economy and reverse logistics initiatives, and commitment to clean energy for operations, with the inauguration of the first photovoltaic generation plant at the factory in China, are examples of the path taken to achieve the commitments established in the ESG Ambition of Company.
“We believe that 2023 will be another important year for Fras-le. We will continue to invest in disruptive technologies, in the evolution of our brands and products, in the automation of processes and in the expansion of territories around the globe, seeking the constant balance of our operations in Brazil and abroad”, says the President and CEO of Fras- le, Sergio L. Carvalho.
