Gravataí held on Saturday (25), the 40th Sport Club Morungava Tournament – Under/12 youth categories. The Municipal Secretariat of Culture, Sport and Leisure (SMCEL) competition was held in the Morungava field, and brought together seven teams.
The Asa Branca team, from Porto Alegre, was crowned champion, with Vila Elisa, from Gravataí, being runner-up. The dispute is part of the More Summer Project, carried out by the City Hall, through SMCEL.
Christian Nathan, with five goals, was the tournament’s top scorer, and Emanuel Vitorino, with a goal conceded, was the goalkeeper with the fewest goals. Both athletes defended the colors of the Porto Alegre team. In addition to Asa Branca and Vila Elisa, the competition also had the participation of Boca Júnior, Juventude, Atlético do Vale, Atlético Caveirense and Amovelle III, all from Gravataí. Also registered was Flamengo, from Cachoeirinha, who did not attend.
The competition had the participation of the secretary of SMCEL Leandro Ferreira and the deputy secretary of SMCEL Alini Muniz. The tournament was supported by Linlex Transportes and EC Morungava, which provided the space for the games to be played.
