Florianópolis, the Capital of Santa Catarina, completes 350 years on March 23rd. And to celebrate the date, MULTI Open Shopping, which is located in Rio Tavares, performs a series of free activities.
The first of these is the opening of the Photographic Exhibition “Floripa 350” by photographers Mara Freire and Ronaldo Andrade. The exhibition can be visited from the 1st to the 20th of March 2023, in the entrance hall of the first open mall in the south of the Island of Santa Catarina.
According to the photographers, the exhibition represents, through 12 images, the rescue of significant aspects of the city. “Beaches, houses, birds, canoes, sunrises and accidents make up the landscape whose beauty enchants and bewitches its population and visitors. Not without reason: Florianópolis is known as the backyard of the witches”, highlight the photographers.
On display are records of the city’s postcard, the Hercílio Luz Bridgethe Mata de Garapuvus, whose trunks are used to make canoes, Ilha do Campeche, Praia da Daniela, Santo Antônio de Lisboa and much more.
Visiting is free and can be done from Monday to Saturday, from 10 am to 10 pm and on Sundays and holidays, from 12 pm to 8 pm. MULTI Open Shopping, which celebrates its 5th anniversary in March 2023, is located on Rodovia Dr. Antônio Luiz Moura Gonzaga, 3339, on the Tavares River, in Florianópolis/SC.
