The Attorney General’s Office (AGU) informed the Federal Supreme Court (STF) that, by December 2021, about 20,000 children would have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the country in an irregular manner.
The Ministry of Health declared that it had access to data considered “extremely worrying” about the registration of immunizations applied to children and adolescents.
The Union informed the STF that about 2,400 children from 0 to 4 years old received immunization, in addition to more than 18 thousand children from 5 (five) to 11 (eleven) years old. When presenting the numbers, the document cites a “context of imminent risk to the health of children and adolescents”.

The ministry argues that this may reveal the possible administration of thousands of doses outside the standards established by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) and the National Plan for the Operationalization of Vaccination Against Covid-19 (PNO).
According to the ministry, the information is available on the National Health Data Network (RNDS), a national health data integration platform.
