Nobody is sure about the origin of the fire, which made more than 10,000 people homeless, but the fact is that due to this tragedy, Ålesund is a Norwegian city very different from the others. In three years it was rebuilt. Professionals who studied architecture in several European countries brought influences from the Art Nouveau style and completely transformed the city. Atlantic Road
Atlantic Road is over 8km long and draws attention for its beauty. Its sharp curves and wild nature make it one of the best roads to travel in the world. It is located between the villages of Kristiansund and Molde, linking small coastal communities. There are seven bridges along its entire length.
