Next Friday, February 17th, a new edition of the Sommer Bier Festival begins, an event that takes place at Rua Coberta and Praça das Flores, in Nova Petrópolis, as part of the summer schedule at Jardim da Serra Gaúcha.
In addition to a variety of musical attractions, which will be presented over two weekends, six breweries in the region and gastronomy establishments are also expected to participate.
The Sommer Bier Festival takes place on two weekends in February, taking advantage of the extended Carnival holiday. On the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st, 12 artists, bands, duos and DJs will take to the stage at Rua Coberta. Then, on the 24th, 25th and 26th, nine other musicians will perform for the public. The entrance for the event is free.
Stalls for the sale of brewery products will be spread around Praça das Flores, as well as gastronomy ventures.
The Sommer Bier Festival is part of the summer program at Jardim da Serra Gaúcha, and is sponsored by Sicredi Pioneira 120 Years and the support of the Municipality of Nova Petrópolis, Ecosul Energia Solar and Amigo Internet.
Participation of breweries
Those attending the Sommer Bier Festival will also be able to taste the drinks sold by the participating breweries. In all, six enterprises in Nova Petrópolis and region will be exhibiting their products. Are they:
