Capão da Canoa will have concerts during the Carnival holiday at Largo do Baronda, by the sea, in addition to the traditional Carnatexas in the Arroio Teixeira district, with a parade of blocks and attractions. The program will be held on the 18th, 19th and 20th of February.
According to the Secretary of Tourism and Economic Development, Marcelo Ramos, this year with the resumption of the Street Carnival, the municipality has expanded the program, with shows on the seafront and Carnatexas. “We know that people are looking forward to the Carnival holiday and we have prepared a program for all audiences with great care”, he says.
The mayor of Capão da Canoa, Amauri Magnus Germano, assesses that Carnival festivities take many revelers to the streets and, for this reason, the program should be diversified. “In addition to Carnatexas, already traditional in our municipality, we will have Carnaval Kids and presentations in Largo do Baronda, that is, many attractions for all tastes”, he assesses.
