A video circulating on social media shows the moment two doctors mock children who were struck by lightning during heavy rain. The case happened in Maués (257 kilometers far from Manaus).
The children arrived at the Raimunda Francisca Dinelli Hospital after being struck by lightning. In the video, the doctors appear mocking the screams of children in pain.
The doctor who is recording the video films her friend and asks “So, are you going to suture these screaming children?” The friend turns to the video fixing her hair and says “that’s right, it looks like they’re being exorcised” and then the two laugh.
