Water analysis data will always be released on Fridays, on Fepam’s website and social media, until February 24, 2023.
Proper or inappropriate location notices are highlighted on information boards placed at the water collection and analysis points. Inappropriate means that people should avoid bathing in that location. When the plate has its own seal, the bath is released.
Vacationers can also consult the analysis results through the Bathing System web application. Click here to access.
The program is coordinated by the Environmental Quality Department team. The collections and analyzes are carried out by the Fepam laboratory in partnership with the Regional team in the resorts of the North Coast, the Autonomous Service of Sanitation of Pelotas (Sanep) carries out the analyzes and collections in the resorts of Praia do Laranjal and the Companhia Riograndense de Saneamento (Corsan), in the other spas covered by the program.
Recommendations:
Enter the water only in a place suitable for bathing.
Avoid bathing in the rainy season, in the first 24 hours after heavy rain, when rivers are full or in storm drains, streams or rivers that flow onto beaches, as the water may be contaminated by domestic sewage.
Do not bathe in places with a concentration of algae, as they may contain toxins that are harmful to health.
