The Environmental Defense Group (GDA), Ipson Pavani, rescued a hedgehog that was hanging from the electrical wiring network, near the intersection of Mauá and Imperatriz Leopoldina avenues.
The action took place on Tuesday, January 31, after the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) was called via telephone 153.
In addition to being fatal for the animal, any accident could compromise the region’s energy supply.
The agents acted very quickly to carry out the capture before the hedgehog was out of reach. After capture, he was released in Imperatriz Leopoldina Park.
