The expectation of the baby was already eagerly awaited by the parents, and grew even more with the project by architects Andreia Hernandes and Pilar Hernandez from AHPH Arquitetura e Interiores. The 10 m² room has been transformed into a princess room full of refinement.
With a different pink, Pilar explains that her mother always thought of using a luxurious decoration, but asked them to avoid that common pink. Lace, pearls, fabrics and wallpapers were used so that everything added to the universe intended by the client.
The rose color was complemented by white. The architects invested in delicate details such as pearls and gold as a symbol of royalty. In addition to thinking about a crown canopy with lace fabric to decorate the center of the crib wall.
The chest of drawers already existed and gained new handles to be part of the decor. The curtain was made especially with the tones of the project. Plain rose fabric for the top and hem and in the middle a gold printed fabric.
For the ceiling, a crystal chandelier and flowers, and for the floor, a tapestry rug. Both with colors following the pattern of the decoration line. The personalized items included pictures with appliqués, armchairs and ottomans upholstered in synthetic silk and tufted fabric, in addition to finishing with golden studs.
Andreia explains that another change in the location was the placement of two types of wallpaper. On the top, a wallpaper was used to imitate lace in a rose tone, and on the bottom, it imitates white tufted upholstery. With the baby’s name stamped on cubes and letters applied to the wall, the little girl’s room became a reality by the hands of the architects.
