Another good news for the population of Estância Velha. This Thursday morning, Health Secretary Cassius Lenzi confirmed that the demand for ultrasound scans (except the ecodoppler) is up to date, that is, there is no waiting list. Before, the wait for the exam could vary from four to six months.
“To reduce the waiting time for the exam, we hired another company to provide the service”, explains Mayor Diego Francisco. “Our goal is for the population to be met in their demands as quickly as possible, in all areas, especially in health”, concludes Diego.
Currently, the patient receives the referral at the Health Center and as soon as he sends the request to the Health Department, he already leaves with the date of the exam scheduled. About 650 ultrasounds are performed per month in the municipality.
“The exam can wait a few days (no more than a week), due to the schedule of the company that provides the service, but it already leaves the exam scheduling sector with the scheduled date”, completes the secretary Cassius.
