A group of four Italian journalists will come to Santa Catarina to see the state’s main tourist attractions in the coming weeks. Between January 28th and February 8th, tourism journalists from renowned Italian magazines, such as Elle Italia, National Geographic, Panorama and Revista F, will arrive in Florianópolis for a Press Trip organized by Sebrae/SC and by Embratur, in partnership with Santur, State Chamber of Tourism of Santa Catarina, Federation of Conventions Bureau, Floripa Airport and several Municipal Secretariats of Tourism.
The purpose of the action is to project the state internationally, favoring the generation of business and the inclusion of entrepreneurs in the tourist economy. The route includes the municipalities of Balneário Camboriú, Bombinhas, Bom Jardim, Florianópolis, Imbituba, Garopaba, Itajaí, Itapema, Joinville, Laguna, Praia Grande, Porto Belo, São Joaquim, Urubici and Urussanga, including mountains, beaches, mountains, historic centers , events and restaurants, demonstrating all the richness of natural, cultural and gastronomic beauties of Santa Catarina.
According to Alan Claumann, Tourism Project Manager at Sebrae/SC, journalists come to the state for exclusive and diversified experiences, both in terms of tourism and in other aspects. “At this time of economic recovery – and tourism – due to the covid-19 pandemic, actions of this nature are essential for tourists to discover new destinations such as those that exist in Santa Catarina. With this, it is expected that the state will be chosen more frequently by international tourists, ”he cites.
The expectation is that, after the trip, journalists write articles and publications with their impressions about the different destinations they visit and experience.
