O president of Randon Companies, Daniel Randon, is present in Davos, Switzerland, participating in the World Economic Forum. The businessman attends the dozens of meetings and meetings on the program, in addition to being part of one of the roundtables of debates between world leaders, which discusses the global challenges for an equitable transition and adaptation to a sustainable economy.
In debate, the basic principles of this theme, which include issues such as the use of new markets, technological and increasingly digital, qualification of people, good jobs and inclusion, which aim at sustainable development.
Daniel Randon reinforces three important pillars of what he believes will contribute to the so-called green transition. For him, each new product or industrial process needs to be born within this conception, as some recent examples presented by Randon Companiessuch as the e-Sys electrical auxiliary traction system, new auto parts in composite materials and processes for obtaining niobium nanoparticles on a large scale.
Another important point is the maximization of circularity in the economy, both from the point of view of conscious investment by companies in their product delivery chain and public and fiscal incentives to expand and favor this.
Finally, the businessman highlighted to the other participants from different countries the potential of Brazil in investing in renewable energies as an example for the world, citing a plan by Randon Companies that will invest around R$ 100 million, until 2030, destined for energy generation renewable energy sources that will supply the industrial units in the countries where it operates.
“Companies are increasingly aware of their commitments to society. But this needs to be shown in practice, with initiatives and projects that contribute directly to the development of people, preservation of the environment and to the generation of value for society”, points out Daniel Randon.
The challenges of mobility and logistics are also on the agenda of the Forum’s discussions, with the participation and interaction of the entrepreneur with other global leaders in the automotive sector and government representatives linked to the themes of this economic segment.
The Director of Institutional Relations at Randon Companies, Joarez Piccinini, follows the activities in Switzerland. During his participation in Davos, Daniel Randon was also representing Transforma RS, a collaborative hub for the productive sector in Rio Grande do Sul.
