The Associação de Amigos da Oktoberfest de Igrejinha (AMIFEST) kicks off the 34th edition of the festival with the announcement of registration of candidates for the court. The contest seeks to value the beauty, culture, resourcefulness and communication of church women. It also aims to preserve Germanic traditions, providing leisure and socializing to the population. The three chosen, being a queen and two princesses, will have the mission to divulge, promote and represent the Oktoberfest of Igrejinha.
Registrations
Entries must be made by interested parties at the AMIFEST headquarters (next to Parque de Eventos Almiro Grings) from January 30th to February 2nd, from 8:00 am to 11:30 am and from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm, and on February 3rd, from 8 am to 11:30 am and from 1 pm to 4 pm. 12 vacancies are being made available for the contest, which are in order of registration (may close before).
At the time of registration, the candidate must present a copy of the Identity Card and/or National Driver’s License attesting to the competitor’s age; Copy of proof of residential address; Copy of proof of education; A postcard-sized color photo (10X15cm); If she has an employment contract, she must present a declaration of awareness from the employer of her participation in the Contest; and, after registering, must sign the Term of Commitment.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
a) Be female;
b) Be born or naturalized Brazilian;
c) Be at least 20 years old on the day of registration and a maximum of 30 years old on the day of the Contest;
d) Being single (not having been married, nor living in a stable relationship or residing at the same address as the affective partner);
e) Not having children or being pregnant;
f) Be a resident of Igrejinha, upon presentation of proof of residence;
g) Not having 1st degree relatives with members of the Executive Board of AMIFEST;
h) Not be enrolled in another beauty contest, unless authorized by AMIFEST;
i) If you have an employment contract, you must present a declaration of awareness from the employer of your participation in the Contest;
j) Having completed high school;
k) Be available for preparatory activities and promotion of the event.
Candidate workshop
Once the registration period is over, the “Workshop der Kandidatinnen” will begin, a marathon in which candidates participate in a series of preparatory activities for the competition. On the day of the selection, which will take place on April 1st, the candidates will be evaluated according to the criteria of beauty and friendliness; resourcefulness and elegance; Communication capacity; general knowledge; participation and involvement in the workshop.
