Canoas City Hall is providing a new virtual tool to help fathers, mothers and guardians in choosing the school transportation for your children. On the website, you can access the Interactive Map which signals all schools, public and private, in the city. The user will be able to consult the name, contact of the person responsible for the vehicle and other information about the school vans that are registered.
The Interactive Map presents school by school and the appropriate registered vans, explains the Secretary of Transit and Mobility (Smtm), Marcos Daniel, remembering that all comply with the required standards. “The purpose of the platform is to provide security to families and guardians of children and adolescents who use this service. It shows that school transport in Canoas is certified and that it undergoes regular inspections carried out by traffic agents”.
The manager points out that the initiative is to make information about the vans registered with the municipality transparent. “We have to praise the companies that make an effort to be legal and mainly care for safety. We received numerous reports of clandestine transport, carried out in vehicles without the slightest condition to carry out this activity, putting students at risk ”, he stressed.
