Until February 10th, enrollment is open for students aged 4 to 9 years old, from the East Zone of Porto Alegre, who want to study ballet for free. The partnership between Centro Municipal de Dança and Ballet Elizabeth Santos is part of the Dança Comunidade project, by the Municipal Secretariat for Culture and Creative Economy.
Two classes will be offered, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the morning and afternoon shifts, for a total of 40 vacancies. Classes start on March 1st. The school is at Avenida Protásio Alves, 7248 – underground.
Classes will be coordinated by teachers Elizabeth and Manoela Santos. The school has 32 years of experience in teaching classical technique, providing democratic and qualified access to ballet practice.
This initiative is in addition to actions that have been seeking to expand the offer of free dance classes in various neighborhoods of the city Dance is now a significant segment in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, with more than 100 schools and groups, helping to project professionals in the market National and international.

Audience: children in social vulnerability, with a family income of one and a half minimum wages, belonging to the communities of Porto Alegre.
Beginner level. (Pre-Ballet and Level 1)

Classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays – 9:30 am and 2 pm.
