The Secretariat for Culture, Sport and Leisure of Lajeado (Secel) is holding a musical workshop in the auditorium of the Casa de Cultura, this Tuesday (17th), from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The activity is the inaugural action of the 1st edition of the “Movimentos” project and the anniversary program of the municipality of Lajeado, which is celebrated on January 26th. The workshop is free.
The cultural project aims to encourage the regionalization of cultural and artistic production, valuing local professionals. The musicians invited to coordinate the workshop are Estevan Junges (double bass), Marcelo Santos (guitar) and Eduardo Xavier (keyboards), who are part of the Jazzera Trio group. The group was formed during repertoire classes with Zoca Jungs, who will accompany them in the workshop, playing the drums.
In the activity, in addition to presenting themes from the great Jazz icons, they will explain about the main phases of the genre, the characteristics and how each instrument behaves. The idea is that participants have the experience of interacting with music.
