Businessman Djalma Berger, manager of Expocentro Balneário Camboriú Júlio Tedesco, received the Personalities of the Year Trophy, offered to businessmen, public managers and professionals from various sectors, chosen through opinion research by social columnists and opinion makers in Balneário Camboriú.
“It is the recognition of our first year in Balneário Camboriú. This trophy makes us proud and gives a lot of satisfaction and above all, it is a responsibility for the coming years”, says Djalma Berger .

Djalma Berger is a public manager and entrepreneur with a history of entrepreneurship and success. Graduated in Business Administration from ESAG / UDESC, and in Civil Engineering from UFSC, he is a partner at Expocentro Balneário Camboriú Júlio Tedesco and Hard Rock Live Florianópolis. In the public area, he was mayor of São José, when in his management he made the municipality grow and develop, making it one of the main cities of Santa Catarina.
As a state deputy, his main fight was for tourism as a source of jobs and income. He was also president of Eletrosul, with an innovative mandate that greatly encouraged the economic development of the State. Printing in every place he was at the forefront the defense of the interests of Santa Catarina.
As an entrepreneur, he seeks to manage democratically, achieving great results. For Djalma, a good entrepreneur can see people’s needs as an opportunity to make the business work, and that it’s not enough to be an entrepreneur, you need to be a good leader to teach and inspire everyone.

Considered the largest and most modern multipurpose complex in the south of the country, Expocentro Balneário Camboriú Júlio Tedesco was planned to host events of all sizes, such as: concerts, conventions, fairs, exhibitions, congresses, seminars, among others. Equipped with modern infrastructure and technologies in order to consolidate Santa Catarina, as a route for large corporate and social events. Inaugurated in May 2022, the events center hosted 76 events, bringing together more than 500,000 people. For this year, Expocentro already has about 70% of its agenda occupied and with prospects until 2029.
