This Friday (13), the City Hall filed a bill in the Chamber of Councilors to make adjustments to the administrative structure and functioning of the Executive Branch.
The change provides for the transformation of four positions of Director General already existing and provided in the Administration into four positions of Deputy Secretaries, with remuneration of 90% (ninety percent) of the subsidy established for Municipal Secretaries.
“It is important to emphasize that, due to the impossibility of creating new continued expenses at that moment in the municipality, it was decided to send the project for appreciation with the transformation of positions already provided, the General Directors, and with the extinction of seven positions in Cabinet Assistant commission (CC2), to complement the values. Thus, there will be no increase in expenses for the municipality”, explains the Secretary of Government, Grégora Fortuna dos Passos.
“This topic is not new. On several other occasions, the need to create the position of assistants was mentioned to enable better organization of the Secretariats, especially the larger ones”, ponders Mayor Adiló Didomenico.
The municipality has secretariats with a larger budget than many cities in the state and the existing volume of work is very large. Thus, the Secretary ends up being bureaucratically tied to the work, which makes other activities in the community unfeasible. The deputy position will optimize this work.
The proposal is that the positions of assistant secretaries be created for the secretariats with the greatest need, which are Education, Health, Works and Public Services and Environment.
