The Secretary of Health of São Leopoldo informed that from Monday (16), the Basic Health Unit (UBS) of Campina will not have service due to renovation and expansion works. The company responsible for the project asked for two weeks to complete the works. Due to the noise and dust, it will not be possible to keep the calls.
The forecast is to reopen by the end of January. Users are already being communicated throughout the week. Appointments will be transferred to UBS Scharlau, where clinical doctors will be. The rescheduling with patients will be communicated via telephone. During this period, the pediatric sector will work at the Materno Infantil UBS.
Remodeling
The investment in the renovation reached R$ 135 thousand. The place, with an area of 423 square meters, will undergo a revitalization of the existing space and the renovation aims to readjust the environment and the service rooms.
Two new dentistry rooms and a gynecology room with bathroom will be built, both adapted in existing areas of the unit. In addition, the education and health room and the clinical office will be expanded.
